Growing up in Easton Pennsylvania, Craig was able to develop his competitive drive and discipline through sports starting at an early age. His interest in business started in high school where he helped develop a clothing brand and a landscaping company that was taken over full time as he moved on to college.
While attending the University of South Carolina Craig joined The Carolina Fund, a club that furthered his knowledge of what it takes to analyze and manage investments. His experience on long term wealth management developed while he interned at Barron Financial Group, a Columbia South Carolina firm.
Nearing graduation, Craig became the Assistant Branch Manager at Republic Finance. While there he was able to develop his skills to lead his peer group in consumer loan and insurance sales. After visiting a few times, Craig knew Charleston would be the place he would like to live. Luckily he was able to land a full-time job at a bank but decided to leave for Breakaway Financial Group in December of 2020.
Outside of work Craig enjoys working out and reading.
Craig is Breakaway Financial Group’s current Investment Analyst and Trader. He is leading the creation of the weekly Market Insight which has been a great learning tool for him as he experiences how to explain complex economical and market developments in a simple manner.
His role will grow with our team as he gains experience. He plans on starting the hard task to earn the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
